Tangata Rongonui.

Today in class I created an biography about Shaun Johnson.

Whaea Jasmine told us that we had to pick a famous kiwi, then she put some examples on the board, at first I picked Moana Jackson but then I realized that some people might get confused on his? gender, so I picked someone else because I was also confused on his? gender. Then I picked Annette Sykes, and realized that she wasn't all that exciting to write an biography about, so then I thought about it, and I ultimately chose Shaun Johnson.

Shaun Johnson is a rugby player who is 30 years old, she was born on September 9th of 1990.

I learnt that he has a netball player wife who's name is Kayla Cullen and is 29 years old, he also has a daughter named Millah who is a couple months old, since she was born last year in August.

Kayla Cullen and Shaun Johnson were married a year before they had Millah, Shaun Johnson has been through many rugby groups before staying in the Cronulla Sharks.

Shaun Johnson was born in Auckland, New Zealand. and grew up in Auckland, his mother who's Laotian left him, his father, and 3 other brothers to go back and live in her home country. When Shaun Johnson grew up he went to Orewa College and played Australian rules football, basketball, touch, and rugby union.

He won several awards like the Golden Boot Award for the best player in the world, and Man of the Match award, he's played for around 13 years and is probably going to quit his rugby career this year.

He played as a half-back or five-eighth, he's 5'10ft and he's still alive today as he hasn't suffered any life threatening illness or injuries.

Reflection: At the start I shouldn't have been very judge-y picking who I should write a biography about and the research part was really hard since there was a lot of sites where it's just news about past events and will he be coming back for 2022, I didn't love doing this but at the same time I didn't necessarily hate it either. The only part about writing the biography would be writing this blog post right now cause I can share somebody who I don't know about with everybody.

What's your favorite sport?
